Want a Dole Whip but don't want to get mixed up in the 50th anniversary crowds? Then the Polynesian Village Resort is the place for you. The Dole Whip is most commonly found at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. But I was looking for a more unique and easier way to experience the pineapple treat. So, this week I went to the Polynesian Village Resort for the classic treat. I was worried that they might not let us park in the resort parking, so I decided to mobile order from the quick service, which I showed to the guard who let us in. But I'm sure if you told them you were getting a Dole Whip, the security guards will let you in. Unlike Aloha Isle, Polynesian's Pineapple Lanai did not have a wait. At Pineapple Lanai, there are four flavors available: lime, orange, vanilla, and pineapple (no raspberry, which is my favorite to swirl with the pineapple, but it's okay). The Dole Whip was of course ten out of ten and overall, the experience of getting a Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai is much better than Aloha Isle.
On my trip to the Polynesian, I learned they have multiple other sweet treats to try. Located at Kona Island is a multitude of sweet treats from full cakes to Coconut Pearl Tapioca to try. So, whether you are looking for a fruity dessert or a chocolatey treat, The Polynesian Village Resort is a beautiful resort to get whatever your sweet tooth is looking for.
