Saying Oui to the Epcot French Desserts

This week I tried three desserts from the France pavilion located in Epcot with my mom and dad to celebrate Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is a quick service restaurant that serves a variety of options from sandwiches to chocolate croissants. I ordered the Duo ($6.50), a white and dark chocolate mousse. On the bottom was a layer of chocolate cake with half white chocolate and half chocolate and finished off with a chocolate frosting with white chocolate ganache. It was really good. I'm a big fan of white chocolate so the mixture of both types really put the whole dessert together. I would rate it a 8/10. Also, it was one of the few that did not have tree nuts in it. I wanted the raspberry lime macron but it was made with almond flour, so if you have an allergy I would not suggest coming here for sweets.

My mom, Jennifer, decided to get the Parfait aux Fruits ($6.50), yogurt topped with raspberries and blueberries. When I asked her what she thought about the dessert she said, "It's light and refreshing!" She also mentioned that she would get it again. My dad, Tracy, got the Créme Brûlée ($4.95). He, however, did not enjoy his dessert. He said, "The top part was good, but the middle part wasn't as good as it should've been." He will not be getting it again.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion is a nice area to get a quick sweet bite to eat, whether you are looking for something on the healthy side, like a yogurt parfait or the indulgent side, like a chocolate mousse.
